COLLEGE: Smith played in 37 games over four seasons (2019-23) at Florida A&M. Over that time, he registered 109 defensive tackles (eight for a loss), one sack, four interceptions, 18 pass deflections and two forced fumbles.  As a senior in 2023, he recorded 37 defensive tackles (one for a loss), three interceptions (third in the Southwestern Athletic Conference) and 11 pass deflections en route to being named a first-team conference all-star. At the HBCU Combine, he clocked the fastest unofficial time in the 40-yard dash — 4.34 seconds.

 

FAST FACT: On May 3, he became the 50th Smith in Roughriders history.
