Trick question in the late 70s early 80 a group of rider players recorded a record album can any one remeber the name of the album or the players? ps this 2010 team is the start of a dynasty.

I think a very overlooked player for the Riders was Bobby Thompson--he was not only a great running back to compliment George but he was a tremendous reciever and a deep threat with his speed--he had a lot of touchdowns and I believe he also ran back kicks --I remeber he ran at least one for a touchdown and I believe it was one of our longest in history

I agree whole-heartedly with Stan Tinker's comments of 2009-07-27. I think it would be nice to chase up a few pictures of old Rider greats and publish them too!

The best and by far the most comprehensive historical stats of any CFL team. It is a credit to this great franchise not to neglect names like Ray Purdin, Ferdie Burket, Ken Carpenter, Bobby Marlow. These great players do not show up in the annual CFL Record Book as their records have been surpassed by those of the modern era. This is a great job! The CFL needs to educate younger fans with former great players of the pre-cable TV, interlocking schedule eras who have unfortunately become forgotten.
