Been gone 30 years and I still bleed green..........

I just happened to log on and read the letter from Masters to Ken Millar. I am a rank amateur, but in hindsight, Masters obviously doesn't understand as much as he thinks he does. Before the Grey cup game, I heard many people say that the green and white didn't have much chance. My reply to all of them was that Montreal lost to Calgary last year, so why not to the Riders this year? Well, guess what, our Riders and Coach Millar showed them all. What an awesome game, incredibly entertaining and I think the Riders should be sooo proud of what they accomplished this year. We need to see the same team next year and the cup will come home to Regina.

I was shopping in downtown Regina the day after the Grey Cup and I was wearing my Rider scarf proudly. Many people stopped to discuss the game and everyone said how proud they were of the Roughriders. What a fantastic season--entertaining throughout. Excellent players, coaches and fans! Don't blame anyone for the loss--you deserve to hold your heads up high--all of you!!!

It's only been a few days since the best Grey Cup game ever and I already can't wait until next season!! I raise my glass to each of you and everything you've accomplished this season!! You should all get awards :^)

Most exciting Grey Cup ever!!! Great effort by both teams. But comments posted at cfl.ca by some Rider fans that "Montreal didn't deserve to win" are so ridiculous and unsportsmanlike. For goodness sake grow up!!! If you use that logic then Sask didn't deserve to be ahead at halftime because of the turnovers and mistakes Montreal made. Unfortunate penalty at the end but no matter what the sport you have to have rules. You violate them you pay. So for those of you who are "poor sports" suck it up!!!

To be a true Rider fan you have to keep believing and keep faith in the good times and the bad. I still believe!!
Thanx for the great season and I know the Riders will be back next year better than ever!! Go Riders Go!!

Great Team, You guys should be very proud of what you did this year. I for one am very proud of you all and you better all be back next year. You really won that game and a cup means nothing, it's your heart and love for the game that means you are a SASKATCHEWAN RIDER and be proud of yourselves. Way to go guys and THANKS for the awesome season. Can't wait until next season to kick butt.
