PRO: In April of 2022, Ratkovich suffered a torn anterior cruciate knee ligament in a private workout with the Green Bay Packers. Before being injured, he was a candidate to be selected on Day 3 of the 2022 NFL Draft. On Dec. 27, 2022, he was signed by the Atlanta Falcons and placed on the practice squad. Ratkovich then signed a reserve/future contract with the Falcons on Jan. 9, 2023. He appeared in three NFL pre-season games with the Falcons in 2023, making one reception for five yards and earning high grades from Pro Football Focus. He was waived by the Falcons on Aug. 29, 2023.

COLLEGE: Ratkovich spent four seasons (2016-19) at Western Illinois, suiting up for 35 games and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology. Overall, he rushed 97 times for 429 yards and three touchdowns. As well, he caught 128 passes for 1,204 yards and 10 TDs. After being redshirted in 2016, he returned 11 kickoffs for 233 yards in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, he served as a team captain and earned First-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference honours. In 2018, he caught 54 passes for 616 yards and three TDs in 11 games. The following year, Ratkovich made 57 receptions for 444 yards and five majors. In 2021, he played for Northern Illinois and rushed 98 times for 448 yards and 12 TDs. He added 13 receptions for 113 yards and two TDs in 13 games. Named a team captain in his first season at Northern Illinois, Ratkovich received Third-Team All-Mid-American Conference recognition and was invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl. Against Western Michigan on Nov. 23, 2021, he took off on a 96-yard touchdown run — the longest for Northern Illinois since 1934 (when Reino Nori scored on a 99-yarder) and the second-longest in school history. Before playing college football, Ratkovich rushed for a team-record 2,673 yards at Crete-Monee High School in Crete, Ill.
