PRO: Ponder signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as undrafted free agent in 2021 and spent that season on the practice roster; spent 2023 season with the XFL’s Seattle Sea Dragons.
COLLEGE: Ponder suited up for 32 games over five seasons (2016-20) at the University of Cincinnati. With the Bearcats, he tallied 64 career tackles (13 for a loss), 13 quarterback hurries, five sacks, one pass deflection and two forced fumbles. An All-American Athletic Conference honouree in 2019 and 2020, he was invited to participate in the 2021 Hula Bowl all-star game.
