COLLEGE: After being selected by Saskatchewan in the seventh round, 57th overall, of the 2023 CFL Draft, he attended training camp with the Roughriders before returning to Queen’s for his fifth U Sports season. Primarily a starting left guard, Floren was part of an offensive line that in 2023 helped Queen’s lead the OUA in average rushing yards per game (242.3) and rushing touchdowns (20). He was an OUA First-Team All-Star in 2022 and 2023. In 2022, he was also a U SPORTS Second-Team All-Canadian.

 

FAST FACT: When Floren decided to attend Queen’s, the team’s recruiting co-ordinator was Shomari Williams — who was chosen first overall by Saskatchewan in the 2010 CFL Draft.
