PRO: Johnson was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round, 164th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. He suited up for three games as a Bronco that season. In 2023, he spent time with the Arlington Renegades (XFL) and New Orleans Breakers (USFL).

COLLEGE: Johnson spent three seasons (2018-20) at Indiana. With the Hoosiers, he registered 69 defensive tackles (eight for a loss), four sacks, seven interceptions, five pass deflections and two forced fumbles over 31 games. His four interceptions in 2020 ranked him third in the Big Ten conference and eighth in the NCAA. Also in 2020, he earned first-team All-Big Ten recognition and won the Corby Davis Memorial Award was the Hoosiers’ most outstanding defensive back. 

FAST FACT: Johnson scored on a 63-yard interception return for Indiana in the Gator Bowl versus Tennessee on Jan. 2, 2020.
