2023: Hawkins made his first CFL start, at left tackle, on June 24 against the Calgary Stampeders, only to leave the game with what turned out to be a season-ending quad injury.

PRO: Hawkins was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round (123rd overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. In 2017, he dressed for five games with Pittsburgh, making one start. He suited up for one game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2019 before rejoining the Steelers in 2020 and dressing for 13 contests that season. He also spent time in the NFL with the Houston Texans, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints.

COLLEGE: Hawkins spent four seasons (2012-15) at Louisiana State and started in all 39 games he played with the Tigers. As a senior, he played a total of 754 offensive snaps and recorded 38 knockdown blocks. In addition, Hawkins helped the Tigers lead the SEC in rushing (256.8 yards per game) and set school single-season records for rushing yards (1,953) and rushing touchdowns (22).

FAST FACT: Hawkins was a Louisiana state high school shot put champion in 2011.
