2023: In four regular-season games with the Roughriders, Watson caught 17 passes for 154 yards, with a long gain of 23. On July 6, he caught a Trevor Harris pass for a game-tying two-point convert late in the fourth quarter against the visiting Edmonton Elks. On the ensuing kickoff, the Roughriders registered a single that ultimately gave them a 12-11 victory.
COLLEGE: Watson joined the Samford University Bulldogs as a walk-on and ended up playing in 47 games, with 167 catches for 2,004 yards and 14 touchdowns. As a senior in 2022, he earned Second-Team All-Conference honours after catching 88 passes for 1,034 yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games.
