2023: Onyeka registered 17 special teams tackles — the second-highest total in the team, behind A.J. Allen’s 19 — in 15 games with the 2023 Roughriders. On Aug. 20 against the visiting B.C. Lions, Onyeka recorded four special teams stops — the most by a Roughrider in 2023. He added three special teams tackles on Sept. 3 (versus Winnipeg) and Oct. 7 (Hamilton).

PRO: Onyeka made his CFL debut with the 2022 Roughriders, recording one defensive tackle and one special teams tackle in eight games as a teammate of his cousin, defensive back Godfrey Onyeka.

COLLEGE: Over three seasons and 25 games with the University of Guelph Gryphons, Onyeka recorded 64 defensive tackles (3.5 for a loss), one forced fumble, one interception and three pass breakups. He also rushed the ball once for 12 yards and returned two punts.
