PRO: Murphy signed with Atlanta as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and spent training camp with the Falcons. With the XFL’s Orlando Guardians in 2023, he registered 25 defensive tackles, one interception and two pass deflections.
COLLEGE: Murphy spent three seasons (2018-20) at Mississippi State. Over 22 games, he logged 66 defensive tackles (three for a loss), two interceptions (one of which he returned for a touchdown) and five pass deflections. In 2020, he had the highest tackling grade (81.2) on the team, according to Pro Football Focus.
