2023: Selected by Saskatchewan in the seventh round, 60^th overall, of the 2023 CFL Draft. He attended training camp with Saskatchewan before returning to the University of Manitoba Bisons for his fifth and final season of U Sports eligibility. In eight Canada West games last season, he registered 21 solo tackles (3.5 for a loss), 12 assisted tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.

COLLEGE: Over five seasons and 32 games with the Bisons, Thomas registered 94 solo tackles (10.5 for a loss), 12 assisted tackles, 3.5 sacks, three pass deflections and three forced fumbles. He was a U SPORTS and Canada West All-Star in 2021 after leading the Bisons in total tackles (32 solo and 18 assisted). He ranked second among linebackers at the 2023 CFL Combine with 18 reps in the bench press.
